Quality Standards
We recognise that our personalised approach must be complemented
by a total quality service provided by a well-trained and committed
work force. We offer the best client service from a skilled fee
earning team assisted by a flexible and skilled support team.
The firms Practice Purpose Statement is:
"To excel as a firm of independent lawyers in the provision
of specialist quality legal services for individuals and for business."
In spring 2006 we were successfully audited for retention of Lexcel,
the Law Society's quality standard, and also the Investors in
People standard. We also retain our Legal Services franchise for
our family department.

Charitable donations
The partners and staff at Percy Hughes & Roberts are keen
fund raisers for a number of charities. We support a number of
local charities. We hold dress down days and fund raising events
throughout the year to raise money.
Charity of the year

Our charity of the year is Claire House, a local children’s
hospice. Claire House cares for children 0 - 18 years with life
threatening or life limiting conditions and their families from
Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
Children's hospices are dedicated to enhancing the quality of
life, providing specialist respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement
care.
In addition to our charity of the year we continue to support
other charities throughout the year, including Jeans for Genes,
the MacMillan Big Coffee morning and Children in Need.
Royden Park
Royden Park is a local treasure. It is a delightful area which
includes wildflower meadows, herb and cottage gardens, a a range
of sculptures, , a gazebo, a laburnum arch and many other features
of interest. It was originally the kitchen garden garden that
served the estate of Hillbark House (now know as Royden Park).
After falling into disuse, large scale restorations have taken
place by the Rangers working with various volunteers.
September saw the official unveiling of the new information and
interpretation boards in Royden Park which we have sponsored.
The idea for updating the boards came from Jan Cruise. Jan had
attended a meeting of the Friends of Royden Park and noted that
the existing boards were sadly in need of a revamp. Being aware
that there is limited council funding for items such as this,
she suggested that we might sponsor the boards. As we support
local issues and charities we were delighted to be involved in
this project in this way.
