Part time workers have fewer rights than full time workers.  True or False? 

 Employment law does not apply to self employed staff.  True or False?

There are powerful myths about various parts of the law where people have very strong beliefs about what the law is which prove to be wholly inaccurate. This is certainly true in employment law where many employers carry on in complete ignorant bliss as to their employees rights and their own obligations until they receive a very rude shock of an unfair dismissal, or discrimination claim.

In case you need to know, part time workers have exactly the same rights as full time workers and employment law does apply to staff even if they are self employed.  There are many people who are called self employed who in reality are not.
