All staff are encouraged to become involved with community organisations in addition to nominating a local charity to support each year.

We are proud these efforts have, in recent years, been recognised by our being awarded 2 awards. In 2006 Percy Hughes & Roberts were voted the best SME in the Wirral Investment Network (WIN) Making a Difference Award, the award, recognised support for the local community. In 2007 we were presented with the Liverpool Law Society Presidents Award for Pro Bono work.

Charitable donations

The partners and staff at Percy Hughes & Roberts are keen fund raisers for a number of charities. We support a number of local charities. We hold dress down days and fund raising events throughout the year to raise money.

Charity of the year

Each year we support one charity as our charity of the year. We raise funds for the charity, primarily inside the office.

Our charity of the year for 2008 - 2009 is Aftermath. Aftermath is a Merseyside charity which is committed to improving support to victims of road accidents and their families.

In addition to our charity of the year we continue to support other charities throughout the year, including Jeans for Genes, the MacMillan Big Coffee morning and Children in Need.
